January Update from the HOA President

1/11/2014

Hello Residents!  Happy New Year to all!

Two items for you:

  1. When shoveling, please remember to shovel the sidewalk at the end of your driveway.  The sidewalk must be clear across the entire length of your property.  If you have a corner lot, please shovel the walk along the side of your lot as well.  We have many walkers in the neighborhood, so let's keep it safe for everyone!  Please see this website for information: http://www.denversnowplan.com/resources.htm#snowremoval, which says in part: “Once snow has stopped falling, residences have twenty-four (24) hours to remove snow and ice from public sidewalks adjacent to their property”.
  2. Please take a look at the service directory and the neighborhood directory.  Do you have any updates or additions to make?  Is your phone number correct?  If you don't have the password to access the neighborhood directory, you can request it with the link below.

Recycle your Christmas tree January 6 through 17.

Recycling Your Holiday Tree
Is As Easy As 1,2,3!

1   Remove all decorations and the tree stand. NO artificial or flocked trees. Real evergreen trees only!

2   Set your tree out for collection during the first two weeks of January. Your tree will get picked up by a special tree collection truck for recycling.

Set-out day and location depends on your trash service type.
  • Manual & Barrel customers should set trees out near your normal set-out location by 7 a.m. on one of your trash collection days during the two-week collection period.
  • Dumpster customers should set trees out by 7 a.m. on either Monday, January 6th OR Monday, January 13th for collection sometime during that week.

Please do not place trees in dumpsters. Trees should be placed at least 4 feet away from dumpsters and other obstacles for collection

3    Reclaim free mulch made from your tree at the annual Mulch Giveaway in the spring!
